Dr. Hesheng Luo is currently a Professor of Gastroenterology at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Director of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research Institute of Wuhan University and the Key Laboratory of Hubei Province for Digestive System Disease. Dr. Luo is the member of the standing committee of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology and the Chinese Society of Internal Medicine. He is also the President of the Hubei Society of Gastroenterology and the vice President of Hubei Society of Medicine. His academic and research fields include basic and clinical research of gastrointestinal motility and cancer. Dr. Luo has received over 6 scientific awards in his research field, of all were the award of Progresses of Science and Technology of Hubei province. He is currently the Editor of the Chinese Journal of Digestion , World Chinese Journal Of Digestology and the Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine. Vice Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Internal Medicine. Dr. Luo has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals.
