Prof. Liu has been engaged in Orthopedics for more than 40 years, with abundant professional theory, and clinical experience. Prof. Liu is currently Executive Vice Chairman of The China National Association of Neck and Shoulder and Lumbar Pain Specialized Committee. He was the Deputy Director of Association of Orthopedics and Trauma of Hubei Province. Besides, Prof. Liu was also vice president of Disabled People's Orthopedic Rehabilitation Research Association of Hubei Province. His main academic and research fields include spinal cord injury and osteoarticular disease. Prof. Liu has received scientific awards in his research fields, of which one was third grade award of Natural Science of Hubei Province. Some orthopedic books have been published, in which is the Editor-in-Chief, such as orthopedics part of Practice of Clinical Treatment, Orthopedics Residency Manual，and Surgery. Now he is currently editorial of Orthopedic Journal of China、Chinese Journal of Pain Medicine and Journal of Clinical Surgery. Prof. Liu has published over 250 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals, of which over 20 were published in different international journals and 4 papers were rewarded third grade award of Excellent Paper of Natural Science of Hubei Province. Over 20 of Doctoral and 30 of Master medical students have been graduated by his supervision.
