Dr. Xiuheng Liu is currently Director of Surgery and Director and Professor of Urology at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Member of Endourology of CUA, Vice President of the Urologic Association of Hubei province. President of Endourologic Association of Hubei province. He is the editors of 11 medical journals, such as Chinese Journal of Endourology, Chinese Journal of Transplantation, Chinese Journal of Endocrine Surgery Journal of clinical urology.
His academic and research fields include basic and clinical research of oncourology and endourology. He is especially skillful in endourologic operations, such as laparoscopic radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, laser treatment of BPH. He is often invited to perform live surgery demonstrations in the local and national symposiums of CUA and also SIU and WCE.
He has published more than a hundred scientific papers in medical journals and edited eight medical books. He has received four scientific awards in his research field by province government.
