Dr. Xuexian Xu is currently a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Director of the department of GynecologyⅢ. Dr Xu is the President of Pelvic floor reconstruction branch of biomedical engineering institute and the Vice President of Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Chinese Medical Association in Wuhan. She has outstanding contribution in diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction，Research of basic and surgical treatment of female pelvic floor dysfunction receives the first grade award of Progresses of Science and Technology of Hubei province.
Many surgery are done wonderful, such as congenital malformations in the reproductive tract, fistula repair, uterine prolapse suspension, anti-incontinence are at the international level, especially for complex fistula repair and treatment of uterine prolapse recurrence.
