Dr. Zezhang Tao is currently a professor of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, and the director of the Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Research Institute of Renmin Hospital. Dr. Tao has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rhinitis, sinusitis, and the comprehensive treatment of allergic rhinitis, besides, the early diagnosis and treatment of nasal and paranasal sinus neoplasms and nasopharyngeal carcinoma is also Dr. Tao’s area of expertise, as well as the nasal endoscope. And he is the standing committee of the allergology branch of chinese medical association and the otorhinolaryngology head and neck Surgery committee of the chinese medical association.
Dr. Tao is also the expert in academic and research fields, especially the basic and clinical research of Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, audiology and allergic rhinitis. In the related research field, ten research projects were presided, including five national natural science foundation projects. Meanwhile, Dr. Tao has received several scientific awards in his research field, including a first grade award, a second grade award and two third grade awards of Progresses of Science and Technology of Hubei province. Dr. Tao has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals, including Carcinogenesis, Cancer letters, Cancer science, and PLoS One. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Audiology and speech disorders, editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Journal of China Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the clinica Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Besides, he is the reviewer of Cancer letters and Oncotarget.
