Dr Li is currently a Professor of Clinical laboratory at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Director of Clinical Laboratory Department of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Director of Translational Medicine Center at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Dr Li is the President of Microbiology and Immunology of Hubei Medical Association, President of Lab Medicine Committee of Wuhan Medical Association, and “Hubei Provincial Outstanding Medical Talent”. Her academic and research fields include the association between Atherosclerotic disease and hormone regulation, personalized medicine and molecular diagnostics, etc. She has received 6 scientific awards in her research field, including the second grade award of Progresses of Science and Technology of Hubei province. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese journal of《Chinese Journal of Microcirculation》.
Dr Li has published over 120 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals including PLos One, Mol Cell Endocrinol, International Journal of Cardiology. Dr Li is currently serving as a member of Higher Education Medical Technology Teaching Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education, and a member of CHINET surveillance of bacterial resistance in China.
